I can't think of any better way to kick things off than to share some inspiring images from the King of Style himself, Colin Cowie. I absolutely love his work because he finds this perfect balance of beautiful, sophisticated, but not over-the-top design in all of his parties. He has amazing use of color all while making it look so effortless and natural. Most of my favorite pics of his work are in his books and while his finest work tends to be seen in the fabulous weddings he does, I wanted to keep things more intimate and in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday share some of his Thanksgiving tables:
Your classic Thanksgiving table. I love how the soup bowls have been combined with the place cards...such a fun idea.
This image has been all over his website but I couldn't resist. The globes are such a unique touch and the entire look is such a fun twist on such a traditional holiday.
This is actually a vineyard them that he did but why not include some cheese and grapes and wine to get the Thanksgiving festivities started?
