Baby Boom

The past six months have been filled with several very close friends having babies.  There is nothing more exciting than watching your friends begin their family and everyone has been blessed to welcome healthy, beautiful babies to this world.  During the summer, several neighbors in my building hosted a baby shower for our dear friend, Rhonda who gave birth to baby boy Hudson this past September.

A burnt orange and polka dot theme was used throughout the shower with all party supplies purchased through Polka Dot Market

I love this picture of the mother-to-be. You can truly see the happiness come through her beautiful smile.

Mark and Rhonda kept the babies name a secret until he was born. Kate (the hostess) improvised with these adorable flags that hung throughout her home.

The shower was a brunch and each neighbor brought a dish.  The food was amazing and everyone left very full.  I especially love what Kate did with the presentation on the food table.  Would you believe that those orange tables are her coffee table broken up? ... so creative!

Kate also came up with the fantastic idea of doing a yogurt bar which was a huge hit.  So tasty and so fun.
Our other neighbor, Monique, is an amazing amateur baker who made these sweets all by herself.  I love the baby cupcakes and the details on the cake are so impressive.

I love this shot of my neighbors.  Such wonderful people and friends.  We are so happy for Rhonda and Mark.  Welcome to the world, Hudson!
