Change of Plans

Way back in September I wrote about the many projects I want to do around our condo. The original plan consisted of 17 updates that I was hoping to accomplish in about 7 months. #1 & #2 were already completed and shared in this post and this post.

A little refresher...

#1: Update the bench with new pillows and bench cushion

Well......I wasn't going to be able to make it four months without wanting to add more to the list. I made a tweak to this original list and we've decided to add projects to our bedroom and laundry/pantry/office/mud room area (yes, it serves all those purposes).

#1: Update the bench with new pillows and bench cushion - completed

#4: New Artwork above the bench
#5: Change the shape and add extra mirrors above the couch

#10: Shelving
#11: Update Centerpiece

#12: Plants - we decided to nix the fiddle leaf figs we were orginally planning to bring back to the dining room. The ones we bought last year died and we loved them so much we thought it would be a no-brainer to get new ones. But with the shelving (see #10) we're using to divide the living/dining room space, it was going to get way too busy and crowded. So auf wiedersehen, fiddle leaf figs. You will be missed.

The additions are actually in other areas of the house that we decided were just as important to tackle as some of these living room projects

#23: Bedroom Rug
#24: Reorganize laundry/pantry/office/mud room area

So there you have it, the updated home project list and we are retiring #12. The good news is that we've completed a good number of the items already listed so I'm going to have some really fun posts for you the next several weeks. Check back tomorrow to read about #4.
